If men from the Bronze and Iron Ages can make up stories about God, why can't I?

Who knows? Maybe, in 2000 years, people will be believing that I spoke for God, instead of those men from the Bronze Age. I'm sure my stories would make a lot more sense than theirs. And, it's not like those who believed I spoke for God would bother with any kind of facts. After all, if faith is enough for billions of people to believe the Bible writers, it would be enough for billions of people to believe me.
man with little book writes, "because you have no inspiration from God."

But, I can say that I was inspired by God and billions of people should believe it, just like billions of people believe the Bible writers. They didn't have to prove that God inspired them; so, I shouldn't have to prove it either. Everyone just has to have faith - or, else.
Song writes, "If men from the bronze and iron ages could speak honestly and with credibility, why can't you?"

But, I am being totally honest about all of this. Is there any doubt in your mind about my motivations here? Is my point not clear enough for you to understand it? If not, let me know and I will clarify. I'm at least admitting that I would be making up stories for future generations of followers to believe on faith. I don't pretend to actually be speaking for God in my stories. THAT would be dishonest.
