If Jesus was drafted to kill people in a war, would he dodge it?

Know of course he wouldn't do it. He was tortured by the enemy and hanged on the cross. He didn't kill them, he didn't even fight back. He prayed for those who treated him like dirt. Jesus would never kill anyone in war, but he does put people on earth and gives them a purpose to join the war and fight for the country.

What an odd name for someone who has never dodged a draft in his life.

And sorry leather, but dodging the draft does not mean enlisting in another branch.. it means dodging service altogether. That's an insult to every man who was killed in all wars while serving in the Navy, Coast Guard, Army, Air Force and yes, in the U.S. Maritime Service.

"Jesus was a Capricorn
He ate organic foods
He believed in love and peace
And never wore no shoes
Long hair, beard and sandals
And a funky bunch of friends
Reckon they'd just nail Him up
If He came down again

Cause everybody's gotta have
Somebody to look down on
Who they can feel better than
At any time they please
Someone doin' somethin' dirty
Decent folks can frown on
You can't find nobody else
Then help yourself to me."

He didn't dodge anything when the Romans came for him. He wasn't the dodging type. If they didn't grant him Conscientious Objector status, he would have chosen freely to go to jail and serve his time for refusing combat service.

Back in "The 'Nam" my Tio Jesus was up for the draft but enlisted in the Marines because he'd rather fight with those who voluntarily enlisted than those who were involuntarily drafted. The reason being was their heart was in the fight and their mind was in the game. No offense to any who served in any other branch that's my uncles exact words and he's also the reason I became a Marine.
So in short he wouldn't dodge he'd enlist in another branch. Right Tio Jesus, wherever you are?

Actually, Jeremy's argument is flawed because Jesus was yielding to the civil authority of the Romans, which would have been the same authority he would have yielded to if conscriped. That, in conjunction with the previous citation from matthew, and the exposition on the authority of government in Romans 13 would lead to the conclusion that Jesus would have supported conscripted service if the appropriate authorities required it.

Matthew 22:21 They said to Him, "Caesar's." Then He said to them, "Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's."

According to that, he would serve.

Also, the commandment was "thalt shall not murder." Killing in war is not murder for the most part.
