I understand that you could obtain a Bachelor's in any major as long as you finish your pre-requisites. I'm already done with pre-requisites (all A's), but the thing about it is that I've mastered the concepts of physics, general & organic chemistry, calculus, and biology. However, would I be at a disadvantage if I'm majoring in Psychology?
When I speak with other pre-med students, their all from crazy and deep science backgrounds such as neuroscience, biochemistry, biology, chemistry, physiology, and engineering. Wouldn't they have a advantage over me when it comes to taking the MCAT and admission consideration?
I already have letters of recommendations, volunteering, military (as extracurricular), shadowing, and GPA. But, damnnnnnn these people majoring in science are just crazy and smart. I just majored in Psychology because its very interesting to me and I have a passion to study it. Don't get me wrong thou, I love science as well -I just couldn't change majors due to the fact that the budget cuts in California restrict you from changing majors for your undergraduate. This is UCLA by the way.
