if i am 16 and i go school and want to leave home to live with my girlfrend can i do this

legally your parents are your guardian until you are 18, and landlords are reluctant to rent a property to minors/unemployed

you are best to wait until a. youve finished education and b. have a solid income.

you have to be aware that to live independantly you need a wage of around £700 p.m you have rent, food, rates, electricity, gas/oil, tax, insurance, tv licence....

i don't think so.. and at this age why do you want to? i'm 16, i'm not living with my parents as i'm an exchange student, but i would never want to leave home for a guy. no matter how serious it was. you've got a lot of time for that it's a bit odd.

hmm.. If you are 16 what is your girlfriends' age? you are still a child so, don't leave home just wait for another couple of years and then jump .. ok good luck!
