fail the audition...? If I write my college application essay about my passion for music, but I am rejected entry into a school's music program, could I still be accepted to that college? I am wondering because if a person's application essay is about music but they don't get into the program, there doesn't really seem to be a reason for that person to attend the college. I have only been playing my instrument for three years so I am worried about how I will compare to the heavily competitive population of experienced people. I want to be a music teacher and not an instrumentalist, though. Should I write about something else then?
