Your eyes provide insufficient aperture and cannot assemble a group of photons that have been collected over an extended exposure time. Therefore, you would never see them as they appear in the photographs taken by telescopes that are several feet in diameter and can keep their "shutters" open for hours. If your eyes were a couple of feet in diameter, it might be a different story, but then you would have other issues, I think.
