dodge, i will goto war? this is what i will do
the people on the other side, were drafted also, so what i will do , is drop my weapons, and run to the other side, to try to bring a peace together from both sides. I will protect my men, and the men on the other side.
I will run back and forth and back and forth to each sides, and try to get everybody to drop there weapons to overpower the officers on both sides, if i find out my side is going to kill the people on the other side, i will warn them, so nobody dies.

Your best chance will be get a bullet first time you run to some site other or this one. Not that anyone give a ....thing if you have weapon or not. The war is a war. You might have a vest with explosive, nobody knows... you know. It's better be safe then sorry. So in the best case you described you might belong to the canon meat squad.
It is not like I am for the war, but if it is comes to it I will be on our site, and will protect the loved one, not run as a headless chicken.
