I honestly don't think I can keep up with the cost of owning an Oscar. He requires a lot of care. He is more than I bargained for (i got him originally without doing any research whatsoever, I know, I was dumb) So I'm sadly thinking about selling him. I just don't know where or how.

It would probably be easier to re-home him for free. Unless there is a privately owned pet shop in your area that would take him off your hands. You could run an ad in then local paper. How big is he? If he is quite large, you might something like ten-fifteen bucks...but I would just think about getting him to a new home where he would be taken care of. Also check and see if there is a local aquarium club...someone there might want him.

Put an ad in the paper saying like Oscar fish, $25555-2345or what ever your price is.sometimes an ad doesnt cost anything and sometimes its like 99 cents

http://www.aquabid.comhttp://www.eBay.comhttp://www.cichlid-forum.com go to the trade post adhttp://www.nycichlids.comYou should get a good picture or two of the fish, mention how long you've had it, what you've been feeding it as well, the asking price, and if you can ship it to the buyer (make sure you indicate buyer pays shipping, you add that on to the cost based on location), or if you need local pick up.
