Use two bicycle dynamos in series. The battery should have the power to run the speakers all day. Why not trickle charge the battery each night when you go home. Try it out before you put this on the bike; Run your speakers straight off the battery and see how long they run. Don't go trying to use a motorcycle alternator. They have to spin hecka fast to work. You could get two batteries so one is charging at home while you use the other one. What else needs power, that 50 watt stereo and 1000 watt subwoofer? Forget it. I'd just get a boombox and some duct tape, but I might turn the hose on you making all that noise coming down my street. iPod, dude. iPod.

...bicycle, what should I use? Would I use an alternator from a motorcycle, or is there something smaller I can use. I want it to charge the onboard 12v 7 amp battery, but also be strong enough to run the speakers on the bike. The speakers uses approximately 2 amps DC. chain driven? wheel driven? any ideas?
