if i wanted to grow hair-like vegetation coming out of the top of a statue

or showroom dummies head....which? plant would give the most realistic approximation of human hair?

i am also thinking of putting fake blue gemstones in the eye sockets, with two hollow tubes going to the top of the skull...so that when the sun shines above, the blue eye/gemstones will blaze electric blue..!
