I've never played halo but I want to get into it. I know almost nothing about the game. I don't know anything about the storyline or what spartans and elites are. Can I start playing on halo reach or will I not understand what's happening in the game? Should I buy halo 3 and halo 3 odst to understand it more? Will I even have to go back to halo 1 and 2 to get the story or can I learn the story from halo 3?
I want to try to only buy one game so will I get the story with just reach?
Or at least only reach and odst?
