If i want to start listening to my system with my car off what would be the most

power efficient way ? What would i most likely need to upgrade to if i want to regularly listen to my system with my engine off ?

So if you had a 300 watt stereo, at 12 volts that consumes 25 amps.

Batteries are rated in Amp Hours, so you need enough battery capacity to ensure you can run your radio as long as you need.

A 100 Amp-Hour battery would run a 300 watt stereo for 4 hours.

I would say a dual battery system or just start your car every once in while to let the battery charge some.
