If I took a pregnancy test and it was negative the first day of missed

period, could i still be pregnant? I had unprotected sex the second and third day I was ovulating and I am about 4 days late for my period. I have a 33 to 34 day cycle and those 4 days are after the 34 days of what would have been my normal cycle. I took a test on the day I was suppose to be getting my period and it was negative. I've had cramping similar to menstrual cramps as well as some cramping right under my ribs. I had a little bit of reddish fluid along with normal discharge about 1 1/2 days ago but nothing since. Could I still be pregnant even with a negative test result, or does this sound more like my body reacting to high stress levels in the past few days? I've never been pregnant so any opinions or personal experiences would be wonderful! thank you!
 
wait a week and test again. if it says no then the answer is no more than likely. try having sex again next month. its better to try a few days before you ovulate not once you already have. goodluck
