If I see a counselor at University, will it affect my records?

You know how strict they are getting into Med School. If its on my record that I spoke with a psychologist\counselor, they may think I have mental problems, right?
 
I'm in the same situation. It won't affect your records--at least at my university, they don't know you spoke with a counselor. Actually, even if they could know, they'd probably applaud you for dealing with problems instead of just letting stuff trouble you.
 
It doesn't matter what they think, it will not affect your records, and even if it does it will not with regards to academics.
