If I screwed up freshmen year, can I still get into a good college?

Okay, so this year was really hard for me. I got stuck with the worst teachers in the entire school (yeah, all of them) and they lost a lot of my stuff (and I slacked off a little too). I wound up with B's, C's, and a D. Will I still be able to get into a good college?
 
definitely, you have plenty of time to pull up those grades. just bust your tail, (especially your junior year). make sure to take upperlevel, honors, and AP classes to prepare you for college level work. do well on the ACT, if you're just finishing your freshman year, then you should take prep ACT classes and the PSAT.

also, keep a copy of everything you do and make your teacher's sign when you give them something. that's what i do.
