C Caleb L New member Jun 12, 2009 #2 no it would slow it down and dont ever mess with sims 3 files they are EASILY breakable You will have to reinstall if you f*** something up so dont even try it i play sims 3 and am astounded by it but trust me you wont wanna do that!

A Aibrean New member Jun 12, 2009 #3 Most likely the speed issue is caused by a combination of RAM and your video card.
