Depends on what type of virus this is, but I doubt it is anything huge, so just search autoplay on your computer, once you find a result, click on it and select take no action on the first 3 ones, then once your on pictures select Ask me every time.
It's highly unlikely that any of your .jpegs (photos) have any kind of virus, but not impossible. If you transfer them over, be sure to scan the USB once you place it into your computer. Make sure "auto-play" is turned off in your machine before you insert it. Have your own AV scan the mass storage device (USB) before you allow it to run...
If it is a worm usually it should be infected to make sure Use combofix from bleepingcomputer.com, then go download malwarebytes from softpedia.com or cnet.com and use it, then clean the rest of the virus with superantispyware from softpedia.com or superantispyware.com, and for future protection use avira as antivirus and a good firewall such as Online Armor or Outpost Firewall or Comodo or PC Tools Firewall Plus.
