If I run away from home and leave the state, what happens?

That's about it... Oh, and I am 17. I would only leave if the girl I love left with me, and she is 16. I don't need advice on what to do to survive, I just want to know if anyone will stop us. I need to live life freely, and with love, I can't do that here. No I am not going to wait until I am 18. Don't suggest that to me please :D

Well Romeo, if you don't break the law, then the law probably would never know that you live on your own. However, the odds of Juliet changing her mind...oh I'd say around the ages of 19 to 24 is very likely. According to statistics, theres a 90% chance that one of you will finish puberty, and your hormones will calm down, and you will suddenly feel different, view the world differently, want different things out of life and leave the other one in search of someone else or one of you will just wait until someone better comes along before leaving the other. Shes the younger one so Im guessing it will be her who will leave you. Lets see if Im right.

Look at 10 couples that are in their 30s, and look at what age they met. 9 of them most likely met in their 20's, maybe 1 couple met in their teens. Not very common anymore like it was 40 years ago.
