I have got a Toyota Avensis and my "unlock" button has fallen off my fob and broken. I am scared now that if I hit the lock button i wont be able to unlock it. I have been using my car by the key to unlock the door and start the ignition. This might sound like a daft question but if I remove the battery will I still be ok to use the key in the ignition? At least if i remove the battery I wont be able to accidentally lock my car by the fob. I hope this makes scenes.
If I remover the battery from my toyota fob will the key still work?
