case i sell it later on? it runs fine has a new stereo and speakers and has ex. cab and fairly new rebuild transmission and battery. what im wondering is for example if i sell my truck for 1,500 or w.e will putting in 1,000 for a paint-job (including removing dents and rust stains, painting etc.) will i be able to sell it for more money. i want to keep this truck because it is a strong car and because it runs and i like it, but i want to know this just in case i sell it.
Also it is good paint. i will ask the shop\guy if they will fully repair all rust stains and not just cover them up.
the paintjob includes painting the car AND body work for 1000

Not sure if painting it will really give you much more reselling value more then likely if you got it painted and had the rust , dents removed etc you'd only get maybe 1/4 value of the paint job etc work back.

Note that most shops when removing rust don't actual get the rust to stop showing up in 6 months or a yr again bec they need to fully sand blast it to actually get the rust out and that ends up putting the paint job bill way up so most shops just touch up the rust etc and paint.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way keep your eye open for Maco to have deals on bec their about the cheapest I've seen advertised and even if they say they'll fully paint it for 300 or 500 bucks due to a sale etc they don't include removing rust or dents etc in that price.
