I am moving to England, and I was wondering if people will look at me because i have an American Accent. I know that when people are here from England, people look at them. Im just scared that people will be mean to me....as you can see...im self-concious...(and a bad speller...lol) anyways..Oh..and the part of England I want to move to is Liverpool or around there...Please Help?

Oh you'll be fine, I doubt anyone will be mean to you because of yoru accent. We're used to lots of different accents here, in fact in some ways people will be nicer to you, because you are a guest in our country. Scousers (Liverpool) are pretty friendly folks anyway, just don't use the word 'soccer' up there ... it's 'football'...lol

Oh and try to avoid "whatever"... just because..well just because.

Cheers and have fun

yeah people will notice that ur different
some mite not accept it
but u seem nice right
and england people arent jerks
u are luckyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

dont worry not all the people is the same, you will, sooner or later, make friends and meet new people.Even better, if you are considering to move to a big city, i doubt everyone will look weird at you, and even if they do i bet you will get used to it. But you must remember one must live strongly because life is limited.

You will be fine. Some people will judge you but just remember they are arrogant.. Eventually you will be accepted by friends and people will get used to you and know you are not what they see as a typical american.
