if i live off campus and enroll as a full-time student in the fall can my parents...

...health insurance cover me? i plan to be enrolled as a full time student in the fall and will be living off campus....my parents are divorced and my father and i don't have the best relationship and i live with my mother and im currently covered under his health insurance...can he take me off? i have heard that if i come home to my mothers house a certain amount of days a year that he is obligated too still cover me...or is he obligated to already cover me since im a fulltime student? i just need to know what to do cuase i need to be covered by his health insurance and need to know whether im able to be or not
