thanks xxxx
to answer your questions shes only 17 weeks old i dont want to let her out untill she 6 months im just not sure about the future of letting her out she is currently still a housecat she has neverbeen outside xxx

A couple of questions - is your cat familiar with the outside? Has she been outdoors of your moms house before?

If think if your cat has never been outside before, or outside of the house you are currently living in - you need to find her right now. She might come back to the door you left her out of, but if she doesn't know her way around, she will probably get lost. Even if she's outdoor savvy from a previous house, she doesn't know this one.

As for the dog chasing her. If she gets chased, there is a very high probability that she will get lost and can't find her way back. Simply because when she runs, she's so panicked that she doesn't take note of her location and where shes run to. When she tries to get back, she can't find her way.

Please go look for her.

In the future, why not just stay with her outside until she looks comfortable, This might take awhile, but this will bet the safest way for you to let the cat out. Also, if you haven't done so, get a collar with tags for your kitty. Any animal outside should have tags. Simply because if the animal gets lost a tag will help him get home.
