basically i just want to know if i can keep my HTML based website, and still code with PHP. (Also, how do i code it with PHP)

Hi i made a RuneScape website, i got the code from site, and now im edidting it, There's certain things ive heard about PHP thats easier than HTML so i wanted to try it. Im great at making text and drop down panels and links in HTML but yah. Can i code it in php or not, If so,how could i do this? THANKS
