If i have a broken tail light and need to drive my car, what can i do to

temporarely fix it, since i'm broke. What happened is i got hit some where in the mall last week, and i coulndt find the person who did it, i dont have another car to drive and i got a broken tail light, and i cant afford to get a new one, what can i do to cover up or temporarely fix it.
 
They sell red and yellow transparent tape at most parts stores. Get the color you need and tape it up good.
