If I got a C in AS Photography is it possible to get an A overall next year?

You must pose the question " What I should do to make it better ? "instead. Listing all the possibility weakness you have and try to overcome with more effort to achieve your goal.
BTW, photography is arty, exploit your aesthetic skill rather than conventional formula.

I got an A in my coursework and a D in my exam
So I just mucked my exam up, I know I just need to do more in my exam now.
 
Well that's only 20% you're chasing right (it was when I did my A-levels).

So basically you have 60-69% right now and you need 80%+ right? Just work hard and make sure you plan courseworks ahead of time and don't do them the night of the deadline.
