If i go to court on a supena for my moms boyfriend trial for domestic violence and i allowed to plead the 5th on what happened that night
 
ONly if your testimony would somehow implicate YOURSELF in a crime of sort. That's the 5th amendment. SELF INCRIMINATION. So no. Not if its for your moms boyfriend and something that he is charged with.
 
no the 5th ammendment is meant only to protect you from being compelled to incriminate yourself. It does not protect you from telling the truth about what happened that nigh.
