if i give my man oral sex while i have the flu can he catch it through his penis?

i have tried to ask this question on Google search however all of the results were for transferring oral herpes. i do not have oral or vaginal herpes so no cold sores or anything.. but i do have a cold due to being out in the rain then in the cool movie theater with a damp t-shirt. If anyone knows the answer to my question that is NOT related to any type of herpes, id greatly appreciate it
