If I get the Samsung Rogue with the connect plan, will I still need the data plan?

I am hoping to get this phone for christmas, and i have been doing the math and everything. Now, my question is if i get the connect plan that says Unlimited Data for Mobile Web and Get it Now/Media Center, will i still have to pay the $10/month data plan for the internet ?
PLEASE HELP.
