if i get a bigger car battery will it hold more power?

the alt will charge it just fine, but look at the battery rating, the CCA's. just because the size of the battery is bigger doesn't mean its more powerfull.

A bigger battery will last longer. The ratings are amp hours or reserve minutes. A bigger alternator won't make much difference in how fast the battery charges. The charging current is limited by other factors.
