If i found a pontiac firebird for under $9,000 could i afford it?

I make around $400 a month and i have to pay for the insurance also. Please help, thanks :)
ok so what if i found a wayyyyy cheaper one like $6000? im on my parents insurance, still in highschool :P
 
No, trust me.. I know how it feels when you want something, and you think you can pay it off with min wages... hun.. Let's make some common sense.. i don't think you want to spend everything you work for, for that. You might need other things in the future! You never know...!
 
no one can answer that question but you. how much will the payment, be how much will ins be, gas you probaly could afford it but all your money will go just into that car. what about if you want a new cd, something to eat or take out that special lady you will be broke
 
probably not if you only make 400 a month b/c my mom has a chevy trailblazer and her monthly payments are about 350 a month. so i would try to find a cheaper one.
