If i enlist in the air force, roughly how long until I leave for boot camp?

I am in the Dep Right now and waiting! was talking to my recruiter yesterday and he was telling me people who sign up today wont leave till april

your ASVAB score the job you pick cause some job you can leave in 3 or 4 months or 6 or a year it all depends on the job you qualify for and the one you pick

Your ship out date is kinda up to you. If you want to leave soon they can get you out there, but you can't say hey I don't want to leave for another 2 years. And you can pick out your job if its available and also how well you did on your ASVAB.
