Would it help shed some pounds?
 
no primarily because most lunch meat is extremely high is sodium & other not so nice stuff - not that healthy & high caloric.

the bread could be good for you but you dont state what kind --

mostly this kind of diet would be
a-boring and
b- unhealthy - (& extreemely unbalanced)
the only weight you might lose is from getting sick. =bad idea

you actually need calories to lose weight - but you need the right kind & the right amount. you also need a LOT more water and you need your daily consumption to be MORE BALANCED...

fad diets NEVER WORK - you might lose weight for a few days then you gain it back plus some or get sick -

if you need to lose weight talk to your doctor first! then go from there
 
It might, but it's not a balanced diet. Even if you do need to lose a few pounds, you still need to eat right. You're not including any veggies.

If at all possible, get the advice of a health-care professional. You may not need to lose any weight. If you do, talk this over with that person, and get advice about eating right. This may not apply to you; I include it only as an example: if you're a diabetic, then choices you make about what to eat and what not to eat can affect your physical health, sometimes drastically. If you have high cholesterol, you would need a meal plan that would be tailored for that.

It's smart and sensible to be proactive about your health, so good for you! However, sometimes it might be wiser to get advice before you proceed with a diet.
