If I do a lot of strength-training exercises for my abs, will they get

the naked truth

bigger and show through my fat? I have about an inch or less fat over my abs but I absolutely hate doing cardio lol
If I do a lot of ab exercises (leg raises and weighted crunches), will they get bigger and show through a little better, or will they just get stronger but still remain "hidden"?

Right now, You can see my abs if I flex them and kind tug on my belly downwards
