I am going to be attending college this fall, and I have a problem. I have never really enjoyed reading! I honestly can say that I have only read one book own my on, non assigned. I know this is sad. I have maybe read five counting assigned, even more sad. Does this mean I am doomed for college? I have tried making myself read but I just do not enjoy it! I think part of my problem is how slow I read. I have tried to time myself a few times and I can only read about twenty pages in one hour, I think this is is my main problem. I envy my girlfriend who reads 700 page books in 1-2 weeks.
Sorry to keep rambling on but am I in trouble? And how much reading are you required to do in college? And last do I read slow or am I just making an excuse >.>
