If I create something using pirated software , will I got to jail?

I live in Canada. And people here said that downloading pirated software id perfectly legal. And I even went onto a website that says that.

So if I download a Pirated program such as paintshop Pro Nine , and then create digital art with it , Can I sell my art to people?

What if I downloaded a Pirated software , and created a video game with it , would I be allowed to sell the game?
 
Using it for your own use is one thing but selling it? Yes you can go to jail for that.
When you use someone else's material for profit that is illegal. Same thing goes for you if you created something, yet I used it and made a profit from it.
Don't do it.
