I'm getting a new verizon family plan and phone. A family member is taking my old phone. Will I have to get a new number or can I have my old one from my other phone?
If you're staying on the same plan you are already at, and you're getting a new phone, then you have to a get a new number. The person getting your phone currently will have your number.
You might be able to keep your number, and change the number on the phone you're passing down, but I think there's a fee and I think you have to be on a certain plan.
