If I can email myself a pdf file, why would i need to buy an app for that (iPhone)?

So many glorious apps.. I can email to myself, pdf's powerpoints, and probably more files types.. so why would i spend .99 to 9.99 for an app. Could someone explain this to me?
All you need to do is email the file to yourself. The iPhone downloads the files and then you view it.. Why the need for an app for something i can do for free.

Because it has a lot more features. If you are going to view a lot of PDF files on you iPhone, you should buy PDF reader. Search PDF on the App Store, it will be the second option.
