If I buy an unlocked Google Nexus One right now, can I use it on other cariers

besides Tmobile? I have Tmobile right now but thinking of switching to another carrier, Att perhaps. But I found this article

it says that right now Nexus One only works on Tmobile network. So how is it an unlocked phone if you can't use it with other cariers?

Does anyone have Nexus one and does it work on Att?

its not gonna be out to buy for like another year. but since its gonna work on tmobile that means it works on the GSM network. so, if its unlocked u can use att too. but google is trying to eventually change the industry so we dont have to get caught in 2 year contracts that take waaaay too much money from the customer with rediculous fees
