if i buy an exhaust system for my jeep wrangler TJ will it matter if i have

yeah i would do about a 2 inch lift just to be safe and you should try a borla exaust system for max sound and power
 
a lift or not? i have a stock suspension and i want to buy the Banks Monster exhaust system but i heard for the gibsons the exhausts fit differently for those wranglers with lift and those without. i dont want to buy the Banks and then not be able to install it cuz i dont have a lift or change the exhaust system after i get a lift.
