If i bridged a lanzar 4000 watt 2 channel amp to a kicker L7 15'' would it

be overpowering it? I realize 4000 watts isn't accurate when they sell it but is it more than the kicker can handle

Not even close. Your looking at 900w rms x 2 at 2ohms if your lucky. The L7 I believe is a dual 4 at 1000w rms.
