If I am interested in a business career, does it make sense to major in economics?

I'm asking this because most of the schools I am interested are small liberal arts colleges that don't offer business as an undergrad major. Also, I'd be surprised if I didn't end up going to grad school for more business-oriented education...
 
Yes. Economics is given as an ART or SCIENCE, but since technically, it's a science, so if they offer a BS in Economics...go for it. You can take a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, or Business Admin - General Studies . With Marketing, you can get jobs anywhere...advertising, finance, any sales, etc. Pick classes that can be transferred to other colleges/universities that you may later want to transfer to.
