If homosexuality is inbred, then why and WHY do homosexuals have the urge to have

sex when that act is useless? Why would evolution create homosexuals in the first place? If you say it is population control, then why is that? Did it result in population control? Isn't there a lot of species that died out because they had some dysfunction or they couldn't survive in the environment that didn't work out, and because of evolution they died out?
