...FEMA drill in New Madrid in May? if they want to simulate a big earthquake why dont they do it in california? they plan to do it in New Madrid area on May 16, 2011. and want companies who can have 14million meals/day ready for 7million survivors. i can understand knowing who can provide food in case of a catastrophe, but wouldnt it make sense to do it in a place where it is more likely to happen? like in california? especially if you are asking companies to put in offers. unless government thinks that New Madrid is more likely to have quake than cali, but just arent sayin so.
