Ok if I get subpoena-ed and appear to trial but don't remember will I get in trouble? I am on medication and I have a hard time remembering anything, I also didn't really see what happened that night. I got subpoena-ed before but the prosecutor said they didn't need me and there wouldn't be a bench warrant,but an officer (he was off duty) called my house the same day as the trial saying that if I wasn't there they are gonna send out a bench warrant and asking about my business that day.
If get subpoena-ed, but don't remember what happened will I get in trouble?
