Evolutionists claim that man evolved over billions of years.

If there were any truth to these false claims, then man's historical record should span back at least hundreds-of-thousands of years, if not millions.

However, the history that we were taught were civilization back in Greek, Rome, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia and then China, a later one.

What, were humans so dumb that it took them millions of years to evolve and then suddenly, POOF, all of history and languages came!??

Maybe that when writing was invented. It's certainly as far back as a way to preserve writing occurred.
 
Humans developed over millions of years and only very recently were able to translate their cognitive thoughts to written languages.

Its kind of like a child. At first they communicate with noises, then they speak, then they write.
 
All right you're so smart you invent a piece of paper that survives the elements for 100 thousand years. Having a problem with that? Don't worry, there is ample proof other than writing which goes back billions of years.
 
Cave paintings are recorded history. There are lots of them.

Humans are only about 150,000 years old. We were almost extinct as little as 60,000 years ago.

1) "Heart" has nothing to do with "fact"
2) Again: Cave paintings. And sorry, you don't get to say "Oh, no, that's not REAL history" just because it doesn't fit the answer you want to hear.

The word history, itself, implies WRITING. (Ask Herodotus.)

Historical evidence begins at different times in different places.
 
The written history of China goes back 8000 years.
And the Bible does not say the earth is 6000 years old. Only verses such as Ecclesiastes 1:4-10 where God's eternal existence is compared to the duration of the mountains, oceans, rivers, hills, soil and fields.
 
No written history perhaps, but we do have art that dates back thousands of years beyond 4000 BCE. In the Chauvet Cave in France, there are paintings that date back more than 30,000 years BCE.

Writings systems don't just come out of nowhere, they are developed over time. Same things apply to evolution. New animals don't just appear out of nowhere, but develop over time.

There's plenty of recorded history, as well as archeological history dating back at least 15,000 years of 'modern' civilization.

You need to research other sources of information.

Edit: According to your time table, the Egyptians invented hieroglyphics about 1,000 years before the Earth was created.
 
history didn't "come" with language (as you put it), but rather the ability to record history came with language.
the technology to record history in a format that would last for thousands of years took a while.
honestly, this doesn't seem to be a difficult thing to imagine...
 
I think David Steward is kind of stupid. No insult intended but that is the mildest word I can think of. But dont be led by anybody, that includes me and David. Study more, as time goes on come to your own conclusions

What are you talking about, there is plenty of paintings, pottery and stuff we've found that is much much older than 4,000 years old. Where do you think this stuff comes from?

Civilization came about with the advent of language, which happened about 10,000 years ago. From there came our ability to read and write. Before people knew how to read and write, there wouldn't be any history books, duh.
 
Written language was invented about 8,000 years ago. The earliest hominids (not modern humans) lived about 4 million years ago, not billions. Language existed, but it probably wasn't until civilization became complex enough to require a way of keeping records that there was any need for writing. Hunter-gatherers had no need of writing.

Native Americans didn't have a written language to speak of. Do you believe therefore they didn't exist?


EDIT: Why is it that when a fundie asks a question and gets lots of good answers he invariably claims that no one can answer the question? Are you lying or just incapable of understanding the answers you've been given?
