If everyone is so worried about the environment, why don't they have less kids?

You can save 25% on your energy usage if you are really really good, but then you will double your energy usage if you have a child. You triple it if you have two, etc. What will the world be like when there are 7 billion people? 10 billion?
Remember, mortality rates are less then birth rates. The population is growing rapidly.

I guess they'd have to put a law on how many kids people can have like in china, then that causes a whole bunch of other dilemmas.
