If Christians try to convert people all over the world, why do they whine

so much when some religions do it? to Christians and convert them to other beliefs?

Every religion places there set of beliefs above all others. That is the fundamental problem with religion.

Well actually I really don't know. I don't see that many religious peeps besides Christians and Muslims trying to convert people.

Many people place a lot of stock in having numbers on their side.

They'll profess that being the largest religion or denomination doesn't mean anything, that the truth isn't dependent on a head count, but deep down I think it serves to validate their beliefs, to assuage their self-doubt. It seems to be a human trait to want to be in the majority, to belong, to be on the 'right side'; losing members means the out group is being successful, that they are a threat.

Um. I find the biggest whiners about conversion are Hindus.

Which is ironic considering they basically worship all gods anyway...
