If Christians aren't supposed to "push" our "lifestyle" why are gay's pushing theirs?

Can all the California homosexuals give it a rest....this is a Republic, and your side loss. Move to Iowa, or chill out. I'm sick of all the "we aren't quitting" stories. Speak through your ballots, but it is getting old.
No, they aren't pushing for "rights" they are pushing for a new definition to the Marriage that the majority of this country does not support. They lost, numerous times, plain and simple.

Gays are not "pushing." I have never had a gay person try to convert me to homosexuality.

And that vote was unconstitutional.

They aren't pushing jackshit on you. They want equal rights.

OMG A NEW DEFINITION?!

1 a (1): the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law (2): the state of being united to a person of the same sex in a relationship like that of a traditional marriage <same-sex marriage>

You got it backwards. The Christians are imposing their lifestyle on the homosexuals. Shouldn't they have the same rights we straight people have?

Christians pushing their "lifestyle" or "beliefs" means that they're telling you to convert to Christianity or suffer an eternity in hell. They're telling you that you're wrong. They're telling you that you're immoral.

Gays "pushing" their lifestyle means they're desperately trying to obtain financial, property, and custodial rights protected by the government for themselves. They're not trying to take away your rights. They're not trying to convert you to being gay. They're not trying to nullify your "traditional" marriage.

Seriously, think about it. If we "redefine" marriage, what does it hurt? Will you suddenly become divorced if that happens? Will you not love your wife/husband any more? This is such a bigoted douchebag question.

it isn't a lifestyle, and they're not pushing it. what they are pushing for is equal rights. If you don't like equal rights maybe you are the one that should move.

How is fighting for equal rights "pushing their lifestyle" onto you??
I have yet to see a single LGBT tell you that you have to marry someone of the same gender, yet people like you keep forcing the idea that marriage "is only between a man and a woman" onto to others.
Sounds like you have it backwards my dear.

You are right. they should just stop fighting for equal rights. Gosh, I mean before the 1960's court ruling blacks and whites couldn't marry. So before that blacks married blacks and whites married whites, and women stayed at home to make babies and cook dinner, and blacks could be lynched for no reason, and the kkk was big. Soon blacks will want to vote and end slavery.

Yah, those were great times. When men where men, women where women, and a black man could be killed for looking the wrong way.

This is not just a republic where the majority rules. We all have right and liberties that will not be infringed on even if the majority doesn't like it.
