If Bible says don't judge others so that you may not be judged, why do SOME

I've given one thumbs' down in all the time I've been on here, to a person who wrote a really, rude, insulting answer to some person's question, a personal attack. I did it to let them know that it was uncalled for.
 
Just because we do a thumb down does not mean we are judging you. We do not have to agree with everything you say. I have a lot of friends that I disagree with but still are there friend. There is a different between disagree and judging.
 
I think there's bit of a difference between judging someone and disagreeing with them. But, hey, if you want to be a literalist about it...

We are not to judge a person's heart. That is something that only God knows.

However, we are to be fruit inspectors. The Bible also says, "By their fruits you shall know them."

every single religion (EVERY SINGLE LAST RELIGION) has a set of beliefs and they pick and choose based on convenience. So "Thou shall not kill" but "God wants America to win the war..." Get what I'm saying? Here's another one .The same people will say "God loves everyone equally as his children" and "Gays will burn in hell".... ? hypocrisy at its best.

Clue; your misinterpretation of Matthew 7:1 is based on your misunderstanding of the Greek, and the context, otherwise, Jesus would never have judged the Pharisees and Saducees, and He rebuked them sharply.

Now, if you want to condemn me for having just "judged" you, go for it, but you do so in ignorance of Matthew 7:1.
